The display technology was innovatively developed, and DigiWindow is what Halliday had unveiled in the CES 2025 event.

Core to Halliday’s smart glasses is the proprietary “DigiWindow” technology—a near-eye display system that projects information directly into the user’s field of vision, without the use of traditional lenses. This makes sure that the display is non-obtrusive and invisible to others, with the aesthetic appeal of conventional eyewear.

The DigiWindow has a virtual 3.5-inch screen for the user, and it provides a clear view even in sunlight. This feature makes it easy for users to access information privately, thus promoting privacy and experience for the users.

Proactive AI Assistance

Halliday’s smart glasses come with an AI assistant, which is proactive in anticipating users’ needs for timely assistance. The features of this AI include:

  • Real-time translation: They allow people to communicate freely and easily across any language.
  • Live Navigation: Offers step-by-step directions displayed within the user’s field of vision.
  • Voice-to-Text Transcription: Converts spoken words into text, aiding in note-taking and documentation.
  • Synchronized Lyrics Display: Shows song lyrics in real-time, enhancing the music listening experience.

The AI assistant operates through a Bluetooth connection to the user’s smartphone, ensuring up-to-date information and seamless integration with existing digital ecosystems.

Design and User Experience

Weighing around 35 grams, the smart glasses designed by Halliday are comfortable to wear for the whole day. The matt black or tortoiseshell finishes give way to various style preferences. Prescription lenses can be used with the glasses, thereby making them available to a larger user base.

The glasses feature options for controlling by voice command, frame interface control, and innovative ring trackpad with which people will have an assortment of methods in their interaction that might be liked and preferred. This battery allows them to operate glasses for a complete eight hours allowing the device’s usage at most during the whole day.

Priced between $399 and $499, Halliday’s smart glasses are priced competitively within the smart eyewear market. They offer advanced features at a price point that is accessible to a wide range of consumers and stand out compared to competitors such as Meta’s Ray-Ban Stories and Solos AirGo Vision.

Halliday also stated that the shipping of its smart glasses is set to take place before the close of the first quarter of 2025. Since the company made a debut appearance at CES, it is in an excellent position to launch the innovative product with maximum momentum gained from the product unveiling.

Summary

Halliday’s AI-powered smart glasses with lens-free AR display mark a significant step forward in wearable technology. By integrating proactive AI assistance with innovative display technology, Halliday offers a product that enhances user experience while maintaining the aesthetic appeal of traditional eyewear. As the smart glasses market continues to evolve, Halliday’s latest offering positions the company at the forefront of this dynamic industry.
