Sydney-based startup Lorikeet has announced a successful close of a $9 million funding round. This new funding highlights an increasing need for advanced AI solutions that can be applied to deal with complex customer interactions in several industries.

The recent funding round was led by Blackbird Ventures, a prominent venture capital firm known for backing innovative technology startups. Existing investors Square Peg and Skip Capital also participated, reaffirming their confidence in Lorikeet’s vision and technological advancements. 

The capital will be directed towards enhancing Lorikeet’s proprietary intelligent graph technology, expanding its enterprise capabilities, and accelerating go-to-market strategies in sectors such as healthcare, financial services, and technology.

Founded in mid-2023, Lorikeet is quickly becoming a leader in the field of AI customer experience. The firm builds AI agents that are tasked with resolving complex, multi-conditional issues of customers, such as doing the safe replacement of credit cards, triaging medical problems, and verification of cryptocurrency transactions among others.
